You do not need to create a Paypal account to pay with a credit card. Credit Cards are processed via Paypal. Follow the "Don't Have a Paypal Account?" link to pay as a guest. Do not close the Paypal window until all payment information has been entered and confirmed. If you have difficulty with payment, email for help.

When making payment via Paypal, you may use your credit card, Paypal balance or eCheck. You will be transfered to the Paypal website to make payment. Your credit card or bank information will be collected by Paypal and will reside only on the Paypal site. Ornament Gal Sewing Patterns will not have access to any of your financial information.

If you make payment with an eCheck, there will be a delay in shipping until the eCheck has been cleared through the Paypal system. This usually takes from 4 to 16 days.

If you wish to purchase an item and pay via money order, please contact us to place the item on hold and obtain the mailing address. Payment must be received within 10 days of item being placed on hold. After 10 days, the hold will be removed and the item may be purchased by others.

All sales are final. There are no returns on sewing patterns. If you find an issue with the pattern that you receive, please contact us to discuss the issue.

Your privacy is important to us. Ornament Gal Sewing Patterns does not sell, trade, loan or pass your information to any companies. Payment information, such as credit card or bank account numbers, entered into the Paypal system remains with Paypal. Only contact information used to ship your item is available to Ornament Gal Sewing Patterns. This information is never used for any purpose other than shipping your order.

Your shipping information is not saved until you actually confirm your order. If you enter information during checkout to view shipping costs and decide to abandon your cart, there is no order and your address information is not saved.

I've been selling online since 2003. My primary selling location was eBay before I moved all items to www.ornamentgal.com. You may view comments and feedback score from my ebay account, ornament_gal via this link. As you can see, I have a 100% feedback rating.

January 27, 2013 -- International shipping prices have increased significantly and can vary widely based on whether the postal employee deems a package to be TOO rigid. For example, a 4 ounce envelope to Australia can be $5.45 or $12.75 depending on rigidity, thickness and weight. Thickness and weight are something I can measure. Rigidity is a very subjective call by the postal employee. I'm attempting to adjust the shipping costs to find a happy median. I'm currently beginning international shipping prices at $10.50. I will adjust up or down as I see how the new rates are being implemented.

Shipping costs are based on weight. Each item has been weighed. When you checkout, the system will total the weight of the items in your shopping cart to determine the shipping cost. In most cases, you will be given a choice between First Class Mail and Priority Mail. Priority Mail is fast but also more expensive.

I prefer to ship based on weight to keep the shipping costs down for those customers who buy light weight items such as patterns. The average pattern weighs about four ounces with the envelope and label and costs $2.25 to mail in the United States. Heavier patterns cost $2.70 to mail in the US. Shipping to foreign countries begins at $10.50 USD. Unfortunately, this method of shipping calculation means that buyers don't see the shipping cost until the checkout process. I do apologize for this inconvenience and understand if you choose to abandon your shopping cart at that time.

Here is a chart of estimated shipping for 1st Class International:

up to 4 ounces (1 lightweight pattern)- $10.50

4 to 8 ounces (usually 2 patterns) - $13.50

8 to 12 ounces - $15.50
12 to 16 ounces - $18.00

Shipping 8 patterns at approximately 2 pounds weight to Canada recently cost approximately $20 USD. The system may charge more than $20 for 8 patterns but when that happens I refund after the post office visit. Shipping to Canada is less than the rest of the world. The shipping charts are currently set for the 'rest of the world'.

It appears to be more cost effective in terms of shipping charges to buy as many patterns as possible at one time.

I welcome international buyers. If you do not see shipping information for your country during checkout, please contact me. I may not be shipping to your country at this time.

We do combine shipping on our items. It is done automatically by the software as you checkout and is based on the weight of the items you purchase. If you feel that the combined shipping price is incorrect, please contact me.

Shipping in the United States is via USPS 1st Class Mail, Parcel Post or USPS Priority Mail. International shipment is via 1st Class Mail Interntaional. Additional fees may apply if another class of mail is requested. Insurance is available upon request.

Any customs fees charged by the country to which the item is shipped are the responsibility of the buyer. Buyers should review the customs and duty fees of their country so that they may know in advance what the to expect.
